A large company came to Agema Labs with a challenge. Their billing department, composed of 6 full-time employees, struggled to keep up with increasing complexity in billing, working with state, local, and federal government contract billable.

We designed and built a software tool to analyze and check all draft invoices in real-time, complete with OCR-based validation of supporting documents through a lean-business-process analysis and rapid code iterations and testing.

This resulted in direct cost savings of $338,000 and an invoice error rate from double-digits to below 1%.
